Request from the app
Open Settings → Privacy & your data → Request account/data deletion. Read the explanation and confirm to submit a request. Keep the request reference shown in the app. Requests are reviewed before data is deleted to protect other members of a shared household.
Request without the app
Email creative.pixelsjp@gmail.com with the subject Grocerish account and data deletion. Include your display name, household name, any request reference or device account ID you saved, and whether you want your account, particular content, or a whole household reviewed for deletion. If you no longer have these details, explain that in your email and we will help identify the appropriate verification steps.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, session tokens, or household invite codes. An account ID or household name alone is not proof of ownership. We may ask for additional verification before changing shared information.
What is removed
Following verification, we remove the requested device account and its membership and address associated personal information and uploaded photos within the agreed scope. Where records are used by other household members, we clarify ownership and whether to delete the shared content or remove identifying details. Deleting an entire household requires appropriate authority and affects every member.
What may remain
Copies on other members’ devices, provider backups and technical logs may persist for their operational retention periods. Limited information may be retained when necessary for fraud prevention or legal obligations. We explain any relevant exception when responding. We aim to respond to verified requests within 30 days.
Local data and subscriptions
To remove all local Grocerish data from your phone, clear the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstall it. This is separate from deleting cloud data. Disconnecting a household also does not delete its cloud data.
Account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Cancel separately through Google Play subscriptions to stop future renewals.
